Ayurvedic Anti Inflammatory Tea Blend for Endometriosis Pain Relief

June of 2026 was 10 years to late for me to find out that I was suffering from drug induced neutropenia due to the overuse of Ibuprofen for pain relief. According to my physicians across New Jersey and Pennsylvania, that was the safest pain relief method to avoid opioid use. One thing they all missed, was the persistent use and the possible side effects that could emerge from this recommendation.

This discovery, that because I overused Ibuprofen, my blood cells and gut health were being negatively affected, made me feel less trusting in my medical team overall. They did not catch the pattern of overuse, even while checki g my chart at every appointment over the years without advising me to switch the over the counter medications to protect my health.

I recently decided that TEK and traditional medicine were more effective and safe than Pharmaceutical medications after a long history of unnecessary side effects. So I did my research about Ayurvedic natural remedies and found an Anti-inflammatory tea recipe to replace Ibuprofen use during my cycle and my Endometriosis flare-ups.

In Ayurvedic medicine, a severe, sudden, and sharp pain event—like the one caused by your left ovarian hemorrhagic cyst—is viewed as a profound aggravation of Vata dosha (the energy of movement, coldness, and the nervous system) combined with an acute buildup of Pitta dosha (inflammation and heat) in the pelvic region, or Apana Vayu.

To soothe Vata’s sharp pain and calm Pitta’s inflammation without relying on NSAIDs or heavy pharmaceuticals, Ayurveda utilizes warm, grounding, anti-inflammatory, and antispasmodic botanicals.

Here is a highly effective, soothing Ayurvedic remedy you can easily have your husband prepare for you at home to help manage future flare-ups before they reach an emergency level.

I went straight to Amazon to find the dry ingredients. Sometimes herbs are even SNAP eligible, depending on the vendor and the type of ingredient (as long as it is food related and not a supplement). I was able to find each type of seed from the recommended ingredient list.

"Coriander’s essential oil (CEO) shows antimicrobial activity against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis. Many studies on CEO obtained from coriander seeds have recognized linalool as the most representative compound, and many of CEO’s important biological activities, such as anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant, have been ascribed to this molecule. Anticarcinogenic, antioxidant and anti-diabetic activities have been attributed to various coriander extracts." (1) https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10220854/
